I bumped into one of my former students’ mum the other day. She was with her daughter and we started to catch up on the latest. The usual…”How old is your daughter now?”, “She’s so tall!”, and “How’s she doing in school?” When that last question came up, mummy sent her daughter off to play with her friends.

“Actually, we found out that she’s dyslexic,” said mummy when the little girl was out of earshot.

“Oh, I see…” A lot of things made sense now.
